Dr. Justin Zellweger
Introduced to chiropractic after dealing with sports related injuries, Dr. Justin Zellweger knows the benefits of chiropractic care first hand. Dr. Zellweger was very active participating in football, basketball, baseball, and golf throughout high school. Throughout his activities, he received regular chiropractic care that had a tremendous affect not only reducing his pain but also increasing his health and performance. After attending the University of Iowa, Dr. Zellweger received his doctorate and graduated Cum Laude from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic. While attending Palmer College, Dr. Zellweger had an interest in sports and occupational injuries. It is here where he received personal training and was a personal intern for 3 years, for the world renowned Dr. Mitch Mally, the founder of the International Academy of Advanced Chiropractic Orthopedics. Dr. Zellweger then went on to participate and advise on the Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Sports Injury Club. The Bluffton/Hilton Head area is a hot spot for the golfing community. Dr. Zellweger is the only health care professional in the surrounding area to be certified by the Titleist Performance Institute. With this certification, we are able properly assess all golfers for proper biomechanics and functional movements specifically related to the golf swing. These assessments will allow golfers to not only maximize their potential on the course but also prevent unwanted injuries. Dr. Zellweger also has taken advanced training in pediatrics and pregnancy. He is a true believer that chiropractic care is something that someone of any age can greatly benefit from. He believes that chiropractic care should be tailored to you as an individual and provides a variety of techniques and therapies that best suits your own personal comfort levels. Dr. Zellweger has held chiropractic licenses in Iowa, New Hampshire, Arizona, Virginia, and South Carolina. He is joined by his wonderful wife Dr. Heather Zellweger, also a chiropractor, and four beautiful children (Isabel, Samantha, Scarlett, and Jack). |
Dr. Heather Zellweger
Dr. Heather Zellweger grew up in the small town of Westport, MA. She attended Worcester State College where she received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology. She then left her life in Massachusetts to move to the mid-west to pursue her dream of being a chiropractor. She attended Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, IA where she took advanced courses in extremity adjusting and focused on womens health. She also attended a clinic abroad in India where she was able to help hundreds of extraordinary people. She met her amazing husband in chiropractic college and the two were married in 2006. She graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in 2007 and the two set out to buy an existing practice in Rindge, NH. Dr. Heather became Webster Certified and focused on treating pregnant women and children, which is a passion of hers having four children of her own. In her spare time, Dr. Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and four beautiful children, Isabel, Scarlett, Samantha, Jack and enjoying her time in the low country. |
